I think what people are trying to say has gotten lost in this thread as people have started arguing about semantics (sounds like something that Mel Gibson would do). I am pretty sure no one is looking at the problems possibly impacting the club purely so they can go "ha ha. Look, I was right and we now have no club. Aren't I wonderful?" if the unthinkable happens, nor are they trying to be doom mongers.

It is more a desire to see something trying to be done about it - a call to arms, if you like. As a supporters group with strong connections to the club, can we not use these to try and get some additional information? Have we looked at a trying to get a meeting with Terry to get some assurances that there is a plan beyond increasing unlikely middle east cash? How is Terry's business problems affecting the club - are they separate?

Also, are we able to get a meeting with Sam Morgan (or any of these othercashed up fools)to discuss the possibility of getting him on board? It may not be possible (everyone could tell us to f**k off and stop wasting their time) but it is an attempt.

All the arguements on here are basically about the same thing - the survival of the club. No one is taking any sort of pleasure about the clubs current position, but equally no one should be getting c**ted off for suggesting the reality of it.
I think that this is the most educated comment in the past 50 pages. I have also noted no one has really commented since the idea was raised but instead have reverted to the usual drivel.
Instead of saying the best thing we can do is buy a season pass, lets see some real action. Terry could tell us to f#$$ off and it is in his right to do so, but he should also appreciate the fans concerns if no one else. AucklandPhoenix2011-07-20 16:18:54
