Well, I wouldn't start talking about "sensible people", because the implication is that Terry is an idiot for falling for the WGA scam. But he's not the only one. He's not even the only one in New Zealand, as Mr McNabb could tell you.
but he's the one who fell for a scam when other were already very vocally pointing out they'd been ripped off
if i went ahead and bought a car off a dealer i'd already knew many people had complained about selling dodgy vehicles that broke down - then i'd be an idiot
if I paid my money and the car wasn't delivered and yet months later while I was still waiting I defended the dealer left right and sideways then you cd upgrade me to an imbecile

But come on people!!
Do you think he accidently stumbled over his (formerly) $100 million + property fortune? Did it fall from the sky at his feet??
He amassed his businesses by hard work, graft, wheeling and dealing and being very shrewd with his money. (Not everyone agrees where "shrewd" finishes ..that's another story.)
Rather than jumping to the conclusion
"Terry backs WGA and Ali Syed therefore Terry must be stupid"
ask yourself " Why would Terry publicly back them?"
