But yeah that is a different and more legitimate stance to take I guess (without actually knowing what we pay in wages etc it is all speculation however). What I said was aimed at those who say players aren't interested due to uncertainty over the clubs future etc. It's rubbish.

That, I do not know. Even if these 5 businessmen came in, who knows if they'd put in enough to sign higher quality players.
I'm just saying that it's pretty clear Terry is in trouble, and who knows where even the money we are paying the players now is coming from, but it's fairly obvious (without being certain obviously) that there aren't huge amounts to attract new players.
