When does the TV rights expire, must be soon. Is Terry hoping to hold out till the hoped windfall, or is the timing of the 5 coincidental to the possibilities of money to make the clubs a profit turner?
Maybe similar to the EPL clubs being bought up in time for the new rights deal.
I beleive TV rights are being finalised now. In the first year the word was FOX paid a fraction of what they did for rugby league. But in the first few game thier viewer numbers for A League games was well in excess of the rugby league. So rights must be worth a lot more this time around as viewer numbers have been impressive to them.
