Terry is a proud man and, certainly when it comes to the Phoenix and his contributions to Wellington and NZ football, rightly so.

He is also someone with balls - I remain hopeful that this courage will extend to knowing if and when the time has come to let go of the Phoenix.

I think it is more than reasonable for passionate supporters to share and express their concerns about the state of the club (e.g. thin back office, coaching and playing staff). But personally I will stop short of calling for Terry to step aside - I don't think that is my call to make and I struggle with casting him aside after he founded and nourished the club for four years.

I continue to live in hope that Terry will make the hard call when the time comes and, as so nicely put above, wish him a dignified exit.

In the meantime season tickets renewed and new shirt (awesome away kit) hangs in the wardrobe awaiting the new season.
