I'm just going to put it out there but would it really be goof if (as an example) Sky TV bought the club and put an anachronism like Kevin Fallon in charge who alienated the players and the supporters?
How about a new CEO who is out of his depth and got the job only because his mate bought the club.
For all Terry's flaws we know he comes with Ricki and Nathan who do a good job considering the restraints.
Ideally we'll have a new group who are practical, take advice and understand the situation but the wrong people are how the Kingz and Knights ended up as bywords for Auckland football being a disaster.

Sorry Dave I call bullsh*t on this one.
The owner we have right now is the one who is goofing. Look at where we are at 4 weeks out - it's an absolute mess (where is that Goal Keeping coach by the way?).
Forget the devil we don't know, it's the devil who we have right now who is causing all of the problems.
Dave is in the right on this one JD and you're on your hobby horse.
Terry is not "goofing", as you put it. He is fully involved in a financial conflagration threatening to raze his wealth, fortune and, most disasterously, his and our beloved Nix.
Rightly (or wrongly, as you see it) he doesn't want to let go.In a few days he may have no choice. The due process in place will sort itout one way or another
The Management team in place were fine before the money was an issue. This we know.
Who the hell are the Phoenix Five? Who are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalype? The Seven Samurai? What are they actually bringing to the Nix table?
Blindly supporting these unknowns is mercenary, disrespectful and above all disloyal. For what he brought to Wellington we owe him, end of story.....in my opinion.
