When Terry loses the club - and he will, who could see Nathan staying on? He was very much Terry's right hand man and Terry thrust him there when Tony P left. Maybe he will stay, as there doesn't seem much of a future in the Seripisos property business, but finding a new capable GM in short time before the season starts will be a tall ask.

This area concerns me much more than who makes up the Phoenix 5. As I said there is cAutionary tale in the Knights who appointed the wrong people to run the club despite the involvement of people with a significant body of cash.

I think Nathan has to stay as acting CEO for the immediate future as short of convincing Tony to leave Optus the lack of knowledge and experience of other options would be a hindrance.

Clearly investment in a full support staff is needed and maybe The time will come where Nathan reverts to his old role (remember that as sponsorship manager he keeps brining Sony back in plus the likes of Revera and others despite the media sh*tstorm) but right now he's done a good job in trying circumstances as far as I can see and replacing him would require an impressive candidate, not the mate of someone on the board who is chairman of Ekatahuna FC.
