Why?
Generally when the media want to talk to us we offer a no comment, very occasionally we mention that opinion among the fan base is split.
I have seen nothing where we have blindly painted the situation as rosey which some people seem to suggest is the case, nor do we generally suggest the position we take is representative of the fan base in general.
This is from a post by Smithy a few days ago:

The unofficial official YF line to date has been that we support Terry's efforts with the club, are grateful for his work to date, and that we stand shoulder to shoulder with him. I think this is still valid.
Let's ignore if people taking quotes from people off this site is right or not, that is a pretty big statement either on behalf of the YF organisation, or the YF Executive. And (sorry to bring this up again Smithy because it is dragging up old news) but that follows on from the comments on behalf of YF about how it was good for Rojas to go to a big club.
Once you have been a spokesperson for the organisation a number of times on the radio or tv, you have to accept that alot of what you say is on behalf of the organisation.
As to where YF has painted the situation as rosey, not quite the same but Smithy has also openly questioned the comments from Morrison to the point where he has basically accused him of making the whole thing up to get on the front page:
People very close to the heart of this tell me that those people exist and have money, but I won't put my tick in the box of a mysterious consortium fronted obliquely by John Morrison, who may have made it all up in his head to get on the front page (again) and John Dow, who probably wants a payday from it.
I don't think it's unreasonable of me to expect these folks to actually come forward before I jump on their bandwagon. I also don't accept any of the trifling pseudo-justifications for why they haven't.
...I think it is rendered irrelevant by the non-existence of any alternative to Terry other than the possibly-fictitious Morrison 5.
Sorry if it seems like this is picking on Smithy as I think that he does a great job.
