If you automatically assume the new owners will be better at it than Terry, then that's a classic case of "rose tinted glasses" right there. .
Looking at the state of the club right now that's a very safe assumption.
Any marketing would be better than no marketing.
Still, I take Doloras point that we can't just assume it will all be sweetness and light with new owners. How would we feel if new owners came in and hiked ticket prices by 50% for instance?
With the reports today of rival consortia and maybe even some dodgy characters being involved, a few people seem to be realising it isn't just about having the cash, we need "fit and proper" owners.
Maybe we should form a Dragon's Den style of fans evaluation panel that rival consortia have to make presentations to. I will volunteer to be on the panel but for legal reasons I will have to wear a balaclava and disguise my voice using auto-tune.
