Actually - no I don't see it that way. If NZF are looking at the bigger picture (development of football in this country) and it had a good relationship with Terry, it should be able to discuss back-up options and be relatively open with all parties (Terry, FFA and the Fab Four).
How much of that is in the public domain is another matter. I just found it strange that the quote was 'cursory' discussions.
I don't have any problems with the how NZF have played this either BTW.
I don't know anyone in the business world that would ever say to one vendor that they have an established health relationship with 'Oh yeah we've been dealing with your competitor for a better deal because we have zero faith in you'
Or maybe that is how you do business?
