Very disheartening when all we hear is this sort of stuff, compared with the seemingly constant flow of good stories coming from most other clubs

Anyway, it's not "all we're hearing". We're also hearing about how we signed Dani Sanchez and Tony Warner, for example, how we drew with the Heart away, etc etc. It's just what sticks in the mind as important.
Simply ask people in the street doloras what the impression they have of the nix at the moment and the answer will be something along the lines of "a club in disaray that is seemingly hurtling towards a path of destruction". It is these "people in the street" which give the nix Home crowds of 10k rather than the 4k home gates of the Phoenix Fanatics!

Not sure many people on the streets of Hastings will be that eloquent...
