Now we have those new owners we're told that they won't be able to do what they say they will.� Well I'm going to wait to see what they come up with and give them the benefit of the doubt rather than writing things off on day 1, just like was done with the prospect of the new owners.
From the press conference I got a very good impression that they were going to be very "eyes open" about the whole business and would be realistic about what can and can't be done. The feeder clubs for development was more long-term, and maybe as they become more familiar with the club and its constraints they might have to scale back their initial aims.
They also acknowledged they knew nothing about running a club.
The whole tone of both Rob Morrison's and Gareth Morgan's prepared speeches and the Q&A was extremely encouraging.
I'm really looking forward to this season now - just hope the team can concentrate on the football thingy and the fans turn up.
