Like I said.  In the last 6 weeks it's gone pear-shaped (although believing all you read in the papers has been proven to be somewhat flawed) but how you can measure the last 4 years as unsusccessful you must be the most miserable bastard in history.
 
You measure the success of the people who own and run the club by what the club has achieved and unless you are some top 4 supporting delusionist this club has been an epic success, far beyond what anyone predicted.
 
That is successful ownership.
 
Is he a successful businessman?  Evidence suggests not, but that isn't how you measure the success of a clubs owners.
