Bump.

I saw this evening that the NZ Rugby Union are looking at selling the Super 15 Franchises, and on TV3 they asked Gareth Morgan whether the Nix Nine would be interested in buying them. There was an element of journo story-fabricating to it, but Gareth Morgan actually said that they'd be open to the idea.

I was wondering if Feverites would have any objections to this, or whether they think it's a good idea?

Was also wondering if this kind of setup (i.e. owning teams across multiple codes) works well overseas? Doesn't Tinkler own the Jets and the Knights? Does anyone know if this works well, or whether it causes any problems?

Personally I don't have a strong opinion either way, but would be curious as to whether other people do.
