In the Morgan Fever  podcast he mentioned something along the lines that when they(Wellnix) took over  they were hoping to sort out the paper work but found that there was no paper work to sort out (must have been a bit like being the first liberators going into Gadafi or Sadams palace )

This is a little bit unfair. Can't comment on the financial accounts but they weren't starting from nothing. The most important part of the phoenix was the playing roster and the coach. That was in place and they haven't really improved that at all. There would be paperwork around the contracts. I don't even think it would have been Terrys immediate responsibility to handle the accountancy/paperwork. Surely this is more indicative on Nathan? Unless Terry was doing something very odd, and it was of course Terry who appointed Nathan.

They have a five year plan which initally is about building a sound foundation and  structure within the business side of the club  ,for the fans there is not a lot to see during this part of the plan it's dull suit  stuff and  not very  sexy , the more impotent supporters amongst us who expect/demand  that we not  only win the A league this year but also sign Messi and appoint the Chosen one as manager are already jumping up and down like spoilt toddlers screaming for another ice cream!
The first fruits from the new owners will not really be seen until the season after next in my opinion but hopefully the the first  really positive signs will start  next season.
As that  great icon of  NZ feminism once said "It won't happen over night but it will happen "

But at the same time this is fair. I think they could try to improve things on the playing side immediately but it would likely cost a lot, lot more money than taking a longer term approach. Results have been good enough that there isn't a lot of pressure. I don't mind the nix nine taking a little bit of time. In fact I'm just happy they stepped in because in the end they were clearly needed to keep the team alive. So far though I don't believe they have made much difference on the field for this season other than possibly improving player morale from a club sustainability perspective.
