They could at least say they appreciate the support of those who do turn up, and challenge us to bring a friend etc. but as every day passes, I feel more and more alienated by the club. On reflection, this actually is starting to translate to me being less vocal at games etc - a fact that may also apply to the fever in general.

For me it's becoming less 'our' club to be proud of in our city of wellington, and more 'their' club. It feels a lot deeper than that and I can't quite put it perfectly into words, but its something along those lines.

Could not agree more Tegal the attitude of Morgan and co totally sucks, they at least had/have a resonable fan base and with YF a very good vehicle to extend the base, but no they want to do it their way and bugger the rest of us, they've got our membership money now so think they can do what they like. Well that attitude will come back to bite them probably for the rest of this season and next year when I and possibly others will look very carefully at whether to renew my membership or just go when it suits, if atall.
Wellington Phoenix is just that, not NZ Phoenix. Wellington is the clubs home, not Auckland, not Christchurch not anywhere else but Wellington.
Over the past week the gloss has certainly come off a bit for me too, I was looking foward to the games either side of Xmas, but now I dont know.
Ricki and the players seem to be taking it positively but that is probably just toeing the party line, but you have to wonder whether it is having some effect. I guess tomorrow night will see what gives. I'm sure the Aussie comentators will give it a bit of a push.
