I do wonder if people just have better things to do with 3 hours on a sunday afternoon. Every now and again people will go to a game, but they don't have to time to commit to 8-12 games a year.

Ballane shows we've averaged 8k this year so far, if I can add and divide, which is not certain
if so, all you need is 6k who turn up to 3-4 games a year instead of 1, voila 10k average
has to be possible, if we avoid the dirge football we got last week, provide a noticeable improvement on the field and consistently improve the position of the team

appreciate the YF aingst here, i can see why you are more pissed than me
and dissapointing to hear Welnix/current 'Nix management have not engaged with the YF mafia in the way the club has in the past
but to get beyond the footy-core to those bigger crowds requires more entertaining and more winning imho
Ok, and some improved marketing might make a wee difference as well, if you insist

(i still believe that the away game thing will not be a big deal
they'll figure it doesn't work for more than 2/3 games, and better home grounds will take the heat off
their gut reaction to seeing dollars going west everytime we get a 5k crowd will settle down if things improve)

let me tell you, businessmen loosing money can be just as emotive and reactionary as the next guy/gal.
get in there, do your YF thing and have some influence
ideally not in the toy tossing no more season membership sort of way ;)
