Actually J82, I don't think the DP are trolling at all, they've just written down exactly what Gareth has said. I think their article is a fair reflection of what Gareth said.

Gareth Morgan has labelled the people he is imploring to turn up and support the Wellington Phoenix as "pathetic" and wants them to be more "sophisticated" rather than demanding short-term results from his team.
The A-League club's co-owner, who has admitted in the past that his football knowledge is limited, has also claimed that many fans "don't know much about the game anyway" and are only thinking about themselves, rather than the long-term viability of the club.
I think this can be classed as trolling...
