To be honest, 8000 in a city this size is not even bad at all. The stadium makes it SEEM so much worse IMO.
The Wellington urban area is home to 400,000 people - Wellingtonians also have the highest average wage in NZ, it's a young city and an educated city, add to that the fact that living costs are lower than Auckland we should have plenty of people with disposable wealth to go to a game.
