Joe Public know Rory Fallon? Please. You may get a small bump if he signed mid season, but that won't happen.

Can anyone tell me how Fallon, who's main skills is heading the ball and giving foul away, would fit in the style that the club is trying to move to? Perhap it would work in Herbert's day, but we are trying to move on.

Ernie on Radio Sport this morning saying basically what you just said. He's good in the air but we are getting away from sending high crosses into the box. Ernie said he had no intention of signing Fallon and wants a midfielder and someone to cover for Fenton.

Amen to that. Another good call from Ernie.
I think it is high time to start a public collection for a large marble statue of Ernie, holding a clipboard, with ball at his feet and phoenix rampant, somewhere on Lambton Quay. (but the Te Aro grassy square opposite Four Kings would be even better)
