Just applying logic here. Every news piece i have read about McKain has went on about how much of a world class DEFENDER he is. He has played in the midfield but he is quoted as saying he prefers playing in the defence. Meaning we already have a great back 4, if we can shift Mckain to a right fullback role. I really dont see how people could say Karl Dodd could play on the right, he has no attacking attributes whatsoever and is a class CB. Him and Durante will be the best pairing in the A-League.
Except that there is no logic there.
Karl Dodd has played RB in the past, McKain has not (instead having played CB and CDM). So where is your logic?
