Not sure this has been debated before but with Simon Elliot being dumped by Fulham...what is his future and any possibility of him signing for the Phoenix? Would we want him?
At 33 , plus coming off a bad injury I am not sure he will attract a lot of attention from EPL clubs. I suppose he might get some interest at Championship or Div 1 but it would be a long shot.
He's good enough still to play EPL if fully fit. Would add something to the Phoenix but our midfield is fairly overcrowded already. Can't see it happening personally.
Don't think we need himn to be honest. Mind you, I've probably been poisoned by the last "Released by Fulham after recovering from a bad injury" player we signed.
Maybe one of the newly promoted clubs, e.g. Hull, would be interested in him
