there is only one depressing thing, (sorta depends on which way you look at things) Felipe, Aloisi, Old, El**ch, Rees scored 9 goals for the nix last season so hopefully the new recruits can fill the void. Hopefully (what am i saying) Smeltz has another blinder of a season.
The suns out, the birds are singing... we've got a great season to look forward to and no reason not to be positive... there's new players keen to make an impression as well as last years team wanting to step up and build on Year One... and as mentioned, there are others to come on board yet... keep the faith!!!(and I won't make any generalisations about Man U followers either lol)Chances are your shirt will be off at the ROF before ya know it!!!

Still though sometimes we need to be realistic and I personally think its putting a lot of pressure on Smeltz to be our Number 1# striker and score as many as last year.... Im looking forward to the season but I think we do need to bolster our strikeforce.
I'm not saying we don't, and I'm not saying we'll win the league either (or finish last again)... what I am saying is that the season hasn't started yet and we know the signing/s haven't yet been completed so don't have a sooky yet... last year was unique for the club, given the tight turnaround from acceptance to the league starting and I think the management team did well to create a team in such a short time that performed relatively well under trying circumstances. everyone involved has learn't from that experience and gained additional knowledge and skills as a result... I would be surprised if the performances didn't then improve, the unknown factor is by how much - in relation to our performance last year, and also in relation to the other franchises...
And as has been already mentioned, the strikeforce is being bolstered... we wait with eager anticipation to see with whom lol
