Lia and Ferrante are leftovers - so lets cut out this 'leftovers' sh*t. If their good enough for our team, regardless of if they come from Porirua or Timbuktoo, they should be signed.
Where they come from is not the issue.
The point is the longer we leave the signing of our strikers the less choice we will have. Not only will we have less choice but you would have to think the cream of the crop will have gone. If we really aspire to be contenders for the title (and of course we should) we need to be at the front of the recruitment pack not the arse end. If the other A-league clubs have already had their pick of the A-league talent pool then what will we be left with ?
Tony has said be patient, they're on to it and that's great to hear. I just get nervous when we talk about filling key remaining spots out of the A-league. Hopefully we are looking beyond A-league players to fill at least 1 of our striker spots.
