I'm not sure, as someone has suggested, that we currently have enough striker coverage if Smeltz gets injured. Covs is good for an hour but what would happen if we went a goal down in the second half. Ideally you would want two  strikers up front. If Costa is on for Covs....then what? Draper? Two youngsters. It would be a big ask for them.

If we play 433 then its no problem. We could succesfully play and score with who we have now. But its when you want to throw more attackers on to the field...that where we look a little light.

But apart from this we should commend Tony and Rickie for the selections they have made. They have addressed most of the glaring problems from last year. We now have quality and depth in midfield and a very solid looking defense.

If we had signed Porter then we would'nt be having this debate. We would all be raving on what a great looking team wev'e got!
