I'm one who's questioned our approach in finding a striker and I'm not a pesimistic sod... I'm an Aucklander! (There is a difference.)  
 
Actually, I'm a huge Nix fan or I wouldn't be on this site. The Welllington Phoenix are the best thing to happen to NZ Football since the '82 World Cup campaign.
 
And the other point above - "know your targets true contractual status". 
 
Wow, that was a real clanger with Porter.  Someone didn't do enough homework. Not a hanging offence, but still a big dissapointment.  
 
Doubt that will happen a second time. I'm just sorry it happened once!
