I would like to know how many games that Dadi has started and finished for Perth.While I am not sure, I don't think he has started and finished many. At 36 next year, is that likely to get better?
What I am getting at is we need a striker that can start and finish every week and play 90 mins. Pointless signing a guy that plays 15-20 each week because we have Coveny and Draper who are those types of players and aren't getting used, so why add another to that mix?
If you are going to sign an import especially at our weakest position, then he has to be able to play 90mins every week barring injury, not be signed to sit on the bench and be an impact player.
The unfortunate thing about losing Smeltz is that he plays every minute and scores goals.... Its a very smart signing for the Gold Coast because they can stick him up front and leave him there like we have for the last 2 years.
