CCM aren't as bad as people think. Will be a tough game.

2 points from 11 games, with a -19 goal difference? Yeah, they are as bad as people think. Can they still win? Of course. However if a team really thinks of itself as play-off material they should be dispatching the Mariners without too much trouble, a test of how Rudan can motivate the guys.

Have you been watching them play? They are playing some good football, they had Sydney on the ropes until an idiot had a brain fart, they were dominating them. CCM just haven't been able to pull it together for a full game yet. If thet do they will compete with most teams in the league until the lack of squad depth kicks in.

Seriously, if they weren't terrible, they wouldn't have only 2 points and such a massive negative goal difference. It's not like they are being judged over just a handful of games - we are almost half way through the season already and they have only two draws to their name. CCM are as bad as people think, simple as that. And we need to beat them to be serious finals contenders.

There's a difference between saying they are bad and saying that they are incapable of getting a result in a game. Even in our sharktest seasons, we've managed to pull off wins against good teams. It's a logical fallacy to imply that just because they haven't won a game all season, they won't be able to do it here.

Honestly I have no idea why you bring up that point (and the good old philosophy 101 fallacy call), as in exactly one post before I literally posted "Can CCM win? Of course they can". I'm not fudgeing stupid.
