Gonna chuck this out there. Assuming we start off with the 5-3-2 formation, why not bring Parkhouse in for Fox? Doyle pushes into the central back 3 and Parkhouse comes in as a left wing back. He provides much more going forward than bringing Galloway in at RB.

Because he is not a defender?

His defensive duties would be much less with playing a back 5, so focusing on someone that can play the role with a bit more attacking intent shouldn't be a problem. He would be able to provide some width & whip in crosses for AK9 to attack.

The back 5 we're playing doesn't really change the defensive roles of the wide fullbacks though, just how much they can get forward. Parkhouse would still be responsible for their right winger and Nabbout/Petratos would tear him to shreds (sidebar - now that AUs are out of AFC U23s, will Champness be available?). Need a competent LWB to shield Rossi from the Jets wide players, who have been dangerous all season.

Give me Galloway over Parkhouse at wingback any day.
