Utilising the statistics for a one off visit to somewhere to lambast the regular 'home' venues crowds is naive. By the same token we could compare the Phoenix 30k plus in the play-offs with Aucklands sub 12k last year and suggest that when you take the population base into account that is a sign that no football should ever be played in Auckland.
..and yes I'm defensive, mainly because I've lived thorugh the 09 train wrecks and have to put up with statements like that from ill-informed media numpties and the claptrap from some of our owners without having to see it on a forum that is about supporting the Wellington Phoenix.
