Yes, but chances is shots+shot assists, so Finkler's stats include all the set pieces he's taken. Every time he shoots from a free kick or one of our guys gets a head on a corner he's delivered then it's recorded as a chance created by Finkler. Which is technically correct but doesn't really reflect the game situation. It doesn't mean it was a good chance or that he did anything in open play to bring it about.

I think he's shown moments of class here and there in open play, but not enough. He's also getting more stick because he presumably didn't come cheap and he's got a good pedigree in the A League. To be fair to him too it seems like he might have some family stuff going on in the background (the trip back to Brazil?) and we don't know how that could be affecting him mentally.
