So much this. I am getting grey hair just by thinking if this is the outcome of poor technical quality of our current players, or of poor coaching.

However, I prefer to go back to my original idea that by not having a critical mass of highly skilled players who can pass with confidence we also effectively shackled our good players who were terrified of passing to others who would lose the ball.  How else to explain the baffling loss of confidence among the quality players like AK9 or Paracki?

I get it that we do not have Sigmund, Muscat, Lia or Riera who were accurate passers and confident players. But many of them were also prone to fouls towards the end of their playing days. Surely by now we have enough players who should be able to shield the ball and pass it accurately. Fox is one of them, Doyle is not bad either (despite occasional howlers), Ridenton is a joy to behold at such young age, and even both Mullen and Galloway seem to have lifted their game (hoping for Mullen to recover with no consequences).

Better minds than mine are pondering the same issues, but no answers are likely. This season has me truly flabbergasted.
