Great result for the Nix.

However it’s a shame that the Vigil was not held at the Stadium then given all attendees free admission to the game

Attendance at the Basin, reported at 11,000. A tribute/vigil at the Stadium, followed by the game would have been a great opportunity for Wellingtonians to commiserate the loss of our country men, women and children, then demonstrate that our city goes on with grief, whilst acknowledging one of our darkest days as a nation.

Wellington City and the Wellington Phoenix should have held the vigil at the Stadium then given all attendees free admission to the game
