I'm a big fan of Parkhouse, I think he's a passionate player who always gives 100%. He's got great pace, and can whip some good crosses in but he's a bench option currently. We need to show some ambition - yes he does a good job most of the times he comes on, but no he is no where near "top quality" for A-League standard. We need to look at for an Ifill, or a Rojas-at-the-Victory, or a Leroy George. Hell, even a Barbarouses, albeit one who isnt a shark person with a shark work ethic. These sorts of players always seem out of our league, but we have to get them in. Crowds want it, coaches always want better players that make them look good and the FFA wants it

Barbarouses seems to have a good work ethic at Melbourne Victory, and yet he was missing in action a bit when playing for the Nix.  I see this as an example of that "Phoenix thing" that we need to fix. Hopefully Darije is on the right track with his "winners" outburst.
