When I watch AFC games at Mt Smart I see a few older folks at The Port end.
But it's also at times visibly pretty crazy in there (flares, lots of stuff being thrown), and the older you get the less you like those shenanigans.
Those travelling down to the ROF from Auckland, would have been heavily weighted towards those without family commitments and so yeah in that 20-30 age cohort.
There also seems a strong Brit expat element in The Port. Not sure if they are just young short term working holiday visa types, or longer term expats.
