You think the sponsor put late pressure on the club? If there is the requirement for two games in a season to be played in Auckland it would be in the clubs contract with the sponsor  and the club would have known it well in advance of the season.

Dome even said they had a number of options which fell through, the club said before the season that two or three games would be out of Wellington so they obviously knew.

If it wasn’t pressure from the sponsor then that makes the decision even worse and presumably an economic decision by Welnix which shows no understanding of football.

They moved the last game of the season at short notice!!!
