We have the dates and reasons for the protest. If no one really wants to discuss outcomes from the protests that's fine, but close the thread. Sticky it to the top of the forum so people can see the info and join in if they want.

Close the thread.

We had a twenty minute discussion with David Dome, we told him our concerns, he took them onboard, he gave us his opinions & they were received with gratitude. But as David Dome knows all three of us, he probably said things in a different way than he would of to a larger audience.

The best way to get information from a protest, is to join in the protest. But you are trying to get the thread locked so that there will be less people at the next protest. Why bother locking the thread, are you afraid that more people will join the protest? Why is that a bad thing? Surely a larger protest would be better?

We know that there is a lack of balls from the Fever Elite, so they won’t join it, but, for the Joe Average supporters of the WELLINGTON Phoenix, this is a way to get your point across.

I hope you will join us on the 25th, or even on the 17th in Auckland, then you can get feedback from David Dome, if he chooses to talk to us again!

That first paragraph is completely sensible. I understand. Patrick asked a question, that’s a fair answer to the question.

Nobody is looking to stop the protest. In fact I feel like I’ve been quite helpful with changing the thread title etc, while others have given suggestions to maximise the effectiveness of the protest, as well as saying well done to LG and yourself for stepping up and protesting something you believe in - really, it’s great because it shows people still give a shark and are passionate about the club. Personally, I’m being passionate about the club in a different way, and that’s fine too isn’t it? That shouldn’t mean I or others get given shark and told I/they don’t have balls etc - why be so personal?

We all want the Phoenix to be better, and do better. All this angst is just exhausting. Whether you’re joining the protest, or letting the club know you’re unhappy in other ways, or you’re just happy to have a football team to support on the weekend so turn up to have fun. We all want the club to do well. The fever is great because we can all support the team in our own way, so let’s just do that.

The next protest is the ‘proper’ one, right? I do hope you get more people this time, you’re efforts deserve it and it does sound like there were a few more people keen to join last time but backed out because of that early goal, or who couldn’t make it.
