Foundation member, poor memory, bad judgement.  But what the heck:

solely on demonstrated, on the field individual football skills (S), teamwork, workrate and playmaking (T), consistent game impact (I)

*no marks for longevity* just consistent fizz on the field while they were here

Total (S, T, I)

OK, I get a whole lot of ties, but I've ranked them subjectively.

1.  Ifill 28 (10, 8, 10) class, goals, assists and occasionally some wicked defending

2. Smeltz 25 (9, 7, 9) predator scorer's skills and instincts. that's it, but it counts.  21 goals in just two seasons.

3. Burns 24 (9, 7, 8) pace, skills, goals. Won games.  Until they sat on him

4. Bonevacia 24 (10, 8, 8) skills, effort, but vision and production not quite matching.  Still deservedly No4. Potential for more.

5. Brown 24 (7, 9, 8) under-rated end to end toiler, organiser, and 23 goals, 9 assists.

6. Durante 24 (7, 9, 8) solid, organising, saved heaps (and hope he has another good year in him, with Rossi alongside)

7. Sigg 24 (6, 9, 9) desparate, 110%, motivating and, in the end, not a bad footballer

8. Greenacre 24 (8, 9, 7) tidy as, total pro, but not quite the impact you'd like

9. Krishna 24 (7, 9, 8) pace, effort, mixed touch, goals.  could move up if he has another couple of improving seasons

10. Rojas 23 (9, 8, 6) skills, pace, effort, corner taker, but green when we had him and not a lot of production

Up and comers:

Kosta

Finkler

Rossi

Special mentions:

bertos, most assists, but ... not quite a top 10.  Bertos or Rojas, on straight class, I go Rohas. Better than Greenacre?

daniel, skills, assists, goals, fun, not given enough time by Ricki, probably otherwise should be ahead of Rohas, but lacking some pace

felipe, classy as, but, honestly, I don't recall enough memorable match making moments

daddi, short but sweet

Not quites:

brockie, one great season, hit and miss though. impact? requires scoring when it counts

mcglinchey, tidy, but not as impactful as a Greenacre or Brown

lia, ok ok, works hard, loyal, tough, blah blah, but missing the pace, impact and overall skillset to be top 10.  Siggy stopped more attacks, motivated more and worked more, Brown scored more.  And the rest of my top 10 are just better players. A great squad member for us, but not top 10.

Manny, Riera.  Good starters, did the job. Not top 10.
