In all the interviews by "experts" and media speculation that I heard and read in the immediate aftermath of Ernies resignation, I remember someone saying that Ramon and Welnix were not on good terms and so he was unlikely to be chosen. I can't remember who it was or how credible they were.

Regardless, the person hired needs to be able to work with the youngsters and help push forwards the academy program like Ernie did, because our monopoly on NZ players is our biggest advantage and key to our success.
