My 2 cents on the "who should get the job" argument is this.
Greenie will be a great head coach, but he can't be the Phoenix head coach until his mates have retired from the squad. He's too close. Des is too inexperienced. Neither of them would have the gravitas that might pull a 30 year old pro from Europe or even Australia. Greenie has a bloody good network in the UK mind, so I might be over-egging that point.
That being said, it sounds like he is doing a decent job at the moment.
