This might be a naive question but does the board always make the final decisions on players in every professional club or does the gaffer get more say than the Nix do?
The Board or their representatives always have the final say. They have to approve the funding. Even Ferguson talks about having more or less hassle with various gaffers during his career. Mostly he talks about them being very supportive, but then, he was Ferguson and that was Man U.
