The A-League is fairly unique, it has small squads, short seasons, a salary cap, a finals system. An overrated European reject is not necessarily going to do better than someone from the league, a lot of coaches from the Premier League have done nothing when they've dropped to a lower division.

I'd rather have a young and hungry coach who want's to step up than someone who doesn't really want to be here and is just coming to this side of the world because it's a pay cheque. That's not neccersarily Des or Chris, could also be Rudan, Ramon, etc.
