not sure why you are shocked the Nix can't qualify for the semis. They have pro players. It's not an even playing field. They are in there by invite with conditions

Auckland have pro players too...

In the eyes of FIFA, if they are not registered with NZPFA, nor playing in a professional league, are they professional players?
