I don't have any issue with Berisha lying on the ground after the Siggy challenge. He got elbowed in the head. That actually hurts.
What has irked me is how he's come out to the media acting like a scorned puppy dog while slandering another player just to get off his ban.
[/quote] he wasn't though, he was rolling around vigorously rubbing the area where be was hit and glancing at the ref to see if he was watching. He wasn't behaving like someone who was injured until the dr was on the scene giving the concussion test. Presumably because the Dr told him to lie still. If he was injured he wouldn't be trying to play it up.

It's not really up to you or other players to judge whether he was actually concussed or not - that's up to the doctor. He got elbowed in the back of the head - that is a fact - and it's a fact that it could possibly cause concussion.

We could learn a lot from rugby there actually. You don't see this sort of nonsense there.
Actually I think you'll be surprised if you take another look at rugby a couple years from now.
Just now in the media they are starting to talk about the length of games - some games have stretched past 2 hours this season due to extensive injury breaks and mucking about between set plays. Injury breaks are not regulated in rugby, so they're starting to see players stay down to give teammates a breather if the pace of the opposition is too high. And players are starting to flop or exaggerate contact to influence the referee.
What we're seeing is what football has already been through a long long time ago. And just like you hear the english 'pundits' etc claim that foreigners bring it into the game, I heard the NZ commentators claiming the Argentinians are bringing it into Super Rugby.
With professionalism comes professional fouls, exaggeration, and just generally more cheating. When there's money and winning at stake, morals go out the window.
Professional rugby is very new, this will get worse and worse if the rugby administrators don't start trying to deal with it now.
I think this happens in all sports to varying degrees - players flop in the basketball, for example, and definitely do in the league.
