I think we're being too lofty in the ideas for the awards, in the spirit of awards for participation we should have awards that even Phoenix players can win.

  • Best backwards pass.
  • Best goal that the opposition scored from our own attacking opportunity or set piece.
  • Best spell of possession in our own half.
  • Best aim from a set piece (by best aim I mean most accurately aiming for the goal keepers open hands)
  • Best yellow card.
  • Best build up play that would have resulted in a goal if our strikers were in position.
  • Narrowest formation.
