Great passion about those hand balls.
I thought Dura's elbow was hit well away from the body so the ball would have otherwise not been stopped/deflected in it's flight by any other part of his body. And in the other case the arm was held with elbow at side and forearm against the chest. So the ball would have hit the chest if the arm wasn't there.
So if my ol' eyes saw those both right on slomo replays then I think they were different.
But the laws require deliberate use of the hand or arm, and I struggle how you can clearly give either on those grounds. Duras is more vulnerable to getting called for a penalty, imho, because his arm is outside his body and gives him a better chance of obstructing the flight of the ball. So there is benefit, or potential motive, for his arm being where it was. In the other case I think no way could you say that.
Dura might have got away with it, but I thought it was unreasonable to give the peno, particularly if we are going to call hand balls more stringently as the WC certainly did. But I'd never have given the other. In the end, if we are going to see more stringent calling of hand ball, arguably the VAR got both right.
Watching both in real time I thought Dura might get away with it, but we'd need to be lucky, and no way that's a penalty for the other one.
