TBH this was a very disappointing interview, the only hard question Domey got was right at the end by Dave and even then Patrick tried to shut him down.

Think you guys missed a trick and should have got Dave to ask the questions as he is very good at playing devils advocate, Patrick, I'm sorry just didn't seem to think Domey could do any wrong and every time someone challenged him he shot them down to a point you may as well call him Patrick Brown Nose!

This may be unfair on Pat and had the Nix PR person not been there he may have acted different. It says a HUGE amount about the Nix that they can't let their GM talk to some fans doing a pod cast without their "bouncer" being there - players I can understand, but a GM???? really

Always like the fever because thought they were independent of the main organisation, but after this, they are pretty much the same :-(

Form your own Podcast them, Ask Domey on and ask those questions and see if he comes back. You forget that Patrick Etc. have to still have a relationship with the club in order to do things like get players on, get the GM on etc. the moment you start publicly attacking him is the moment he says no thanks. I Don't doubt for a second off air they have probably hit him hard on some things, but unfortunately sometimes you need to think about the future, the fever has a good relationship with the club unlike some other fan groups and its not worth risking that.

These lads put in a shark load of effort behind the scene's to make sure we have a forum, a atmosphere, and a fan group and i dont think its fair (for Patrick in particular) that they seem to get attacked at every corner, they aren't paid for this shark, they do it out of love for footy and the team.

Please do a Podcast though get him on and ask the questions you think are missing as I would be genuinely interested in the responses.

I think this is a harsh reaction. Dave was asking some good questions that were illiciting some good answers and discussion and it seem that Patrick was trying to cut these off. It sounded like he was trying to run strictly to a script.

In saying all of that, it was a good pod, learned plenty and i’d suggest the pod team really have a good discussion before such guest visits, agree on go to and no go areas they will traverse and stick to it. It’s only an organisational problem I think.

I dont really think it is (but I respect your opinion that it is) some people have a history of hating on certain member's and what they do, all I am saying is if JourneyFan doesn't like it he should Poney up and see how far he gets rather than just criticising.

Personally I understand these limitations and appreciate the chat they had, its not hard hitting journalism but I think its unfair to expect that of people who are not journalists doing this as fans.

That said I think we should close down this form of discussion and focus on the podcast itself as I think it was a good installment.
