If you want to be deliberately obtuse then sure. Ryan Nelsen is also a football manager born here that captained the All Whites and played for a greater number of years and earned more caps. But we both know such an argument is just plain silly.
Edit: In fact Ryan also beats out Danny for number of 'n's in his name too if that's a metric you'd like to raise? I guess I'd concede defeat if we go with the letter 'd' though.
