Killen is a current AW....he knows lots of the lads. He knows Rickie and his style of coaching. He is a Wellington boy. Killen could play OK after a week training. Thats what I mean about "low risk" recruit.

If you recruited� for example a brillant South american or a Dutchman or what ever there are cultural and possibly language barriers to over come. The guy has to fit into a new city, a new training environment a new team culture a new coach a new style of play etc. There suddenly are more mitigating factors which make the recruitment a "higher risk".

I'm not saying that Killen�would� tear up the A-League.....just that he would have a higher probability of delivering a positive return for the club

Fair enough - but think Killen's wage demands would probably be a bit too high for the Nix Nine.
