I see that one of Auckland's latino's...Andreu Guerao has gone to play pro football in Europe( 1st Div Georgian side) Georgia is C Div in Europe so its not a high level.
Guero has an interesting pedigree. 41  games for Sporting Gijon including a handful when they were in Div 1 Spain, then 34 games for Warsaw in Polish Div 1. So he has had a background at a higher level than A-League.
I am not saying we should have signed him for the Nix coz it wouldn't/could'nt happen. But did anyone see and rate him when he played in the Premiership? You would think he might be better than our current holding DM's.

Any other of the Auckland latinos worth a look in the off season? I would be happy to see some more Dani Sanchez's at the club.

Thought he was class at ASB Championship level, always seemed to have a lot of time when on the ball. A little light weight thou, those Aussie Pitbulls would give him a hard time.
I think UK Kiwi is pretty much on the nose. He has got skill. It looked like he found it too easy at time and made a couple of mistakes because of complacency but he would be too light for the physicality of the A League. No problems if you are light but then you have to have pace to burn the defenders coming to smash you (ala Kosta and Marco)

I wouldn't classify him as a holding/defensive midfielder i.e. ball winner. More of a deep sitting distributer like the Korea guy they had Ki-hung Lee and what Elliott did for us at the Phoenix
